There’s Carol, founder, chef and Managing Director of Deeney’s. Born and bred in a Scottish café, she’s spent her whole life cooking tasty food for the people around her. In the summer of 2012 she decided to give up her day job, and do what she loves full time. Now going to work means cooking good food for nice people, all over London. “Educating people in haggis is our main mission at Deeney’s, we want to promote the nutritious and tasty national dish to people everywhere, and grow the demand for the sustainable meat.”
Paddy, Carol’s partner helps out too. Paddy is a master of the grill and a dab hand at marketing, parking the van and drumming up interest. (If that means fiddling in public, so be it).
